Welcome to Sharon's Shanghai Acrobats photos

The Shanghai Acrobats were a very exciting and amazing show. They are world famous, and with reason!
My camera works well in low light, but not low light and fast moving objects.
The photos are not the best, but they give you a good idea of what the show was like.

My belly sure does not work like that...

She then did a handstand on the hands to the right

She is hand-standing on the raised legs of the three ladies

These gents would slide down upside down till their heads just touched the ground, then step off; they jumped between poles, catching with their legs and no hands.

They took the center pole loose at the bottom and swung on it, jumping to outer poles hanging upside down, and with one leg

This lady juggled this huge urn with her feet, then juggled a full sized table, again with her feet!

I wish this photo were better, this gent is upside down on a unicycle on his shoulders, riding on a thin string
using his hands on the pedals! He even swung the string from side to side while riding down the string.

Twirl a felt hat while hand-standing on a belly...

Teamwork

Balancing at it's best

That hurts just watching

The guys show their stuff

The ensemble works together

Ok, picture this. The finale. One gent on a small motorcycle rides on stage, then enters the steel ball cage, riding around and round,
up and over. Wow! Then *another* gent enters and they both ride, missing each other. Then another gent enters, and all *three* avoid
disaster (and each other). Just when you thought it was too crazy, one more gent rides in and all FOUR go around and over each other,
two going up and down and two going around and round. I ride a Harley and this scared the bejeepers out of me!!
