Welcome to Sharon's Tang Dynasty Performance photos

The Tang Dynasty performance was a wonderful show in Xian. We ate about ten courses of great food, then settled back to watch a dance and music show. The costumes and set design were the most beautiful silks and softly painted sets, they were gloriously beautiful. I've never seen so many different types of instruments in one show.

A comedic portion of the show; the two men next to the center drum had "conversations" with their cymbals. The sounds made were unreal, they tried to out-do each other, from loud to quiet and all points in between.
