There is a saying in China, Beijing has 1,000 years of history, Xian has 6,000 and Shanghai has 10.
It really does work that way. Xian is a city full of history, the only surviving intact city wall, and a
great museum of Chinese history and art. There are so many things to see here that two and a half days was
no where near long enough to get even a portion of all the great sights.
