The main entry gate into the gardens. There is a shopping center on two sides of the garden, they meld into each other.
The shopping is a narrow walkway around the two sides of the Garden. Lots of interesting things and good prices.
A plain, simple and elegant entry way.
There are lots of rock grottos, large trees, and groups of plantings (bare in February) that border a beautiful small lake with Koi fish.
This wonderful wall is called the "Dragon Wall", due to the large carved dragon's back that tops the length of the wall. Said to ward off evil spirts, it must work because I never saw a one!!
I love interesting wood working, these tables and chairs were made of solid burl. I did not find out what type of wood.
Another fine wood working piece. The windows are carved out of a single plank, then laquered.
Well, ya gotta eat something. The Chinese love KFC, Mc Donald's, Pizza Hut and DQ.
This door way reminded me of the Hobbit's doors in the LoTR trilogy.
